The island is gearing up to indulge it’s senses and immerse itself in culinary pleasures of the 4th Samui Fine Dining Festival.
Taking place from March 1 – 31, 2014, it is a culinary extravaganza presented by 13 of Samui’s Top Restaurants and an elite of international chefs.
An increasing number of individuals consider Fine Dining as an essential element of their lifestyle and a significant topic when choosing a holiday destination. In addition, for those who are keen to expand their culinary horizon, the festival is a wonderful opportunity to do so.
Every day in March, each festival restaurant will present a superb individual Fine Dining Menu for 3.750 Baht per person including a bottle of Champagne Lombard per couple. Thai hospitality is all around and service always comes with a smile.
As Samui is an ideal spot for dolce far niente (doing nothing), this fact invites for an antipode. The festival is exactly something suitable – an event designed to boost & enhance tourism and to promote the island via its first class wining & dining options. The objective of introducing a genuine touristic concept during the period of one month has been very well received in the last years, resulting in a positive and recognized feedback on a global level.
Festival Restaurants: Amber (InterContinental), Beach Republic, Dining on the Rocks (Six Senses), Full Moon (Anantara Bophut), Kan Sak Thong (Melati Resort), Le Jaroen (The Scent Hotel), Ochos (Akaryn), Orgasmic, Rockpool (Kanda Resort), Saffron (Banyan Tree), Sala Samui, Tawann (Renaissance) and Tree Tops (Anantara Lawana).
Organized by the Cool Genie Group, the 4th Samui Fine Dining Festival is a corporate activity between hotels, resorts, private restaurants, suppliers and media. There is cooperation and support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Bangkok Airways, Champagne Lombard, G Four Fine Wines & Samui Lifestyle Magazine. Gourmets and those in the making are welcome. Koh Samui is serving the world on a plate.
